Loading the bottom rack

Load items with cooked-on or dried-on food in the bottom rack, with soiled surfaces facing inward to the spray.

Mixed load

l Load plates, soup bowls, etc., between prongs and facing inward to the spray.

l Make sure pot handles and other items do not stop rotation of the spray arms. Spray arms must move freely.

lLoad items so they do not block or cover the spray tower.

l Load heavily-soiled cookware face down in rack.

l Do not stack or overlap dishes. Water spray must reach all soiled surfaces for best results.

Utensil load

l Load cookie sheets, cake pans, and other large items at sides and back. Loading such items in front may keep water spray from reaching detergent dispenser and silverware basket.

Mixed load

Do not cover spray tower

960 Series specifications

The Whirlpool 960 Series washer and dryer are engineered with cutting-edge technologies designed to enhance laundry care while providing maximum efficiency and performance. With its sleek design and user-friendly interface, this series caters to modern households seeking reliable yet innovative laundry solutions.

One of the standout features of the Whirlpool 960 Series is its advanced Smart Boost technology. This innovative feature pre-mixes detergent and water before the washing cycle, ensuring thorough cleaning while minimizing the amount of detergent needed. This not only optimizes cleaning efficiency but also helps protect fabrics over time.

The 960 Series also includes the Load & Go dispenser, which allows users to add a single load's worth of detergent for up to 20 loads at a time. This convenience eliminates the need for frequent refilling, saving time and effort during laundry days. Additionally, the Adaptive Wash technology automatically senses the load size and adjusts water levels accordingly, ensuring optimal wash conditions for every load, regardless of size.

Another notable characteristic of the Whirlpool 960 Series is its Quiet Wash sound package, enabling a peaceful laundry experience. Noise-reduction technology ensures that the washer operates quietly, making it ideal for homes where laundry is done at all hours. The dryer in this series is equally impressive, featuring a variety of drying options, including an EcoBoost setting that uses less energy while delivering effective results.

Connectivity is another highlight of the Whirlpool 960 Series. Equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, users can monitor and control their washer and dryer remotely via the Whirlpool app. This includes starting, pausing, or canceling cycles, as well as receiving notifications when loads are complete. This smart technology enhances accessibility and streamlines the laundry process.

Energy efficiency is a key consideration in the Whirlpool 960 Series design. Both the washer and dryer carry ENERGY STAR certification, which signifies that they meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This not only contributes to lower utility bills but also reflects a commitment to environmental sustainability.

In summary, the Whirlpool 960 Series stands out for its combination of advanced technology, user-friendly features, and efficiency. With Smart Boost, Load & Go dispenser, Quiet Wash technology, and connectivity options, this series is tailored to meet the evolving needs of today's households, making laundry a seamless part of everyday life.
