Replacing the Cooktop and Oven Lights

Fire Hazard

Use only candelabra base bulbs, 30 -watt maximum. Failure to do so could result in fire.

The Cooktop light:

Electrical Shock Hazard

Turn off power at main power &pply before re- placing the light bulb. Failure to do so could re- suit in electrical shock.

2.Remove the five screws holding the bottom panel in place.

3.Lower the front of the panel. Slide the panel forward to remove.

4.Remove shipping tape from bulbs - if still in place - before removing bulbs.

5.We recommend replacing bulb(s) with candelabra- base 30-watt bulb(s) avail- able from your authorized WhirlpoolSM service com- pany (Part No. 4158432).

The Oven light:

6.Replace the bottom panel in reverse order.

Turn off power at main power supply before re- placing the light bulb. Failure to do so could re- sult In electrlcal shock.

5.Slide bulb holder out, then turn towards front to remove bulb from oven.

3.Tip the cover forward, then lift out to remove.

8.Slide the top of the vent cover into place. Push the bottom until it snaps into place. Replace the mount- ing screws. Turn the power back on at main power
