Switch the MTD-ERV 350 to the setting mode.

Press simultaneously for two seconds on " " and " ".

Wait until "InR" appears on the CC Ease display.

In setting mode, bypass and preheater are always deactivated. The MTD-ERV 350 switches the setting mode off again automatically after 30 minutes.

Close all windows and outside doors.

Close all inside doors.

Check thepresenceofaircirculationsystemsin the building (at least 12 cm2 per l/s).

The air circulation systems in the build- ing must achieve at least 12 cm2 per l/s.

Check whether both fans function in the three speed ranges.

Switch the MTD-ERV 350 to the high position.

Install all the valves and set them according to

the instructions or as in the reference dwelling. If no data are known:

Install the valves and open them as far as possible.

4.6Maintenance by the Installer

AsinstalleryouhavetoservicetheMTD-ERV 350as follows:

Inspect the heat exchangers and fans

Clean the filter if a preheater is installed.

Thesemeasuresaredescribedinmoredetailbriefly in the following sections.

If these measures are not performed (regularly), there is a danger that the MTD-ERV 350 will cease to function cor- rectly.

4.6.1 Inspection of Heat Exchanger and Fans

Thefansandtheheatexchangermustbeinspected every 4 years.

Remove the mains plug (A) from the plug sock- et.

Pull the filters (B) out of the MTD-ERV 350.

Remove the front plate by removing the screws

(C).

Push the front plate in the direction of the ar- row and remove it from the MTD-ERV 350.

Remove the sealing plate by removing the screws (D).
