4.YoumustreplaceexistinglargeO-ringonfilterhousing. Firstremoveoldringand discard. (Youmayneedtouseatoothpicktogetunderring. NOTE: Usecaution so that groove that holds ring is not damaged!) Carefully remove new O- ringfromsealedbag. GentlyrollO-ringintoplace,intocontainmentgroove abovethreads.

5.Removepackagingfromfiltercartridge.

6.Placefiltercartridgeincup. Theendwiththesmallo-ringshouldbeup,outof thecup.

7.Screwcup,withfilter,backontohousing. DONOTUSEWRENCHTOREINSTALL CUP.Filtercartridgewillself-alignascupistightened.Besurecupiscompletely tightenedwithPureSource™ Logofacingoutward. DONOTTIGHTENPASTSTOP.

8.SeticemakerlevertotheON(down)position.

9.Checkforleaks. Openrefrigeratordoor. Wipeanywaterdropsfromfiltercup. Runaglassofwater. Ifthereisaleak,unscrewfiltercup,andreinsertfilter cartridge. CheckplacementoflargeO-ring(seedirectionsfollowing). Reinstall

filtercup.

10.Toconditionfiltersystemandpurgeairfromwaterline,runseveralglasses ofwaterthroughwaterdispenser. Thiswillalsoassurethepurestwater possibleisstoredinwatertank.
