FOOD CHOPPING TIPS
•Always cut, tear or break food into
•Never overload chopper with food. Food should be placed loosely in chopper and never packed down.
•If chopping more than 1 food consecutively, begin with dry food if possible to eliminate cleaning of the bowl and blade between uses.
•Do not chop hard foods that cannot be easily cut with a normal kitchen knife or foods that contain pits, stones, bones or hard shells, as damage to the chopper will occur. Foods not recommended for chopping include dried fruits, ice, hard sausage, coffee beans, whole spices, cheese other than Parmesan and Romano, whole wheat, corn or rye kernels for making flour.
•Liquid ingredients should not be mixed in chopper, as leakage will occur.
•The sides of chopping bowl may become cloudy in appearance after frequent use, which is normal.
•If chopper does not turn on when LO or HI button is depressed, the cover is not completely engaged in slot. Turn cover clockwise to fully engage tab in slot for operation.
