If your battery is too wes_k to start the engine, it should be

recharged, if "jumper cabtes" are used 'for emergency starting, fottow this procedure:

IMPORTANT: YOUR TRACTOR IS EQUIPPED WiTH A 12

VOLT NEGATIVE GROUNDED SYSTEM. THE OTHER

VEHICLE MUST ALSO BE A 12 VOLT NEGATIVE

GROUNDED SYSTEM. DO .NOT USE YOUR TRACTOR BATTERY TO STAR_ OTHER VEHICLES.

TO ATTACH JUMPER CABLES -

=Connect each end of the RED cable to the POSITIVE

(+)terminat of each battery, taking care not to short against chassi&

=Connect one end of the BLACK cable to the NEGA- TIVE (_) terminal of fully charged battery,

=Connect the other end of the BLACK cable to good CHASSIS GROUND, away from fuel tank and battery.

TO REMOVE CABLES, REVERSE ORDER -

BLACK cable first from chassis and then from the fully charged battery.

-RED cable last from both batteries.

POSiTiVE TERMINAL

NEGATIVE TERMINAL

TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB

Raisehood.

Puit bulb holder out of the hole in the backside of the grilt.

°Reptace bulb in holder and push bulb holder securely back into the ho_e in the backside of the grill

Close hood.

INTERLOCKS AND RELAYS

Loose or damaged wiring may cause your tractor to run poorty, stop running, or prevent it from starting.

Check wiring. See electrical wiring diagram in the Repair Parts section of this manuat,

TO REPLACE FUSE

Replace with 30 amp automotive4ype plug-in fuse. "The fuse hotder is located behind the dash,

TO REMOVE HOOD AND GRILL ASSEMBLY

(See Fig. 30)

*Raise hood.

-Unsnap headlight wire connector.

,Stand in front of tractor. G rasp hood at sides, tilt toward engine and lift off of tractor.

-To replace, reverse above procedures.
