3.Important extension cord information

Make sure the extension cord is in good condition before use.

Based on the total length of cord that you are going to use, check the chart to make sure the cord meets the correct minimum cord gauge (AWG) requirements.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

USING AN UNDERSIZED CORD, A LARGER NUMBER CORD GAUGE (AWG) THAN RECOMMENDED IN THE CHART, OR AN EXCESSIVELY LONG CORD COULD CAUSE A LOSS IN POWER (VOLTAGE DROPS).

THIS PREVENTS THE MOTOR FROM DEVELOPING ITS FULL POWER

AND OVERHEATS THE UNIT.

Do not abuse the cord; never yank it to disconnect it from the socket or outlet.

Keep cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
