Do not mow in reverse unless it is absolutely necessary. Always look down and behind before and while backing up.

Be aware of the lawn mower discharge direction and do not point it at anyone. Do not operate the lawn mower without either the grass catcher or the guard in place.

Slow down before turning with the lawn mower. Sharp turns on any terrain may cause loss of control.

Turn off the blades when you are not mowing.

Keep hands, feet, hair and loose clothing away from the attachment discharge area, the underside of the lawn mower, and any moving parts while the engine is running.

Stop the engine before removing the grass catcher or unclogging the chute.

Watch for traffic when operating near or crossing roadways.

Do not touch the lawn mower or attachment parts which may be hot from operation. Allow the lawn mower to cool down before attempting to maintain, adjust, or service it.

Safety and Instruction Decals
