ASSEMBLING THE MOWER

Delivery Checklist

Remove the mower from the packaging and check that the following items have been supplied correctly. If any items are missing contact, your local Hayter dealer.

Engine Handbook.

Side Discharge Chute

Grassbag.

 

 

To prevent accidents cut off the long ribbon attached to the grass- bag and discard.

Handlebar

Double3

Unscrew the handlebar securing knobs sufficiently to allow the handle- bar to pivot. Unfold the handlebar to the operating position. Tighten both handlebar knobs to secure the handlebar in position.

Take care to ensure that the control cables do not become snagged at the pivot point.

Adjust Handlebar Height

Remove the ‘R’ Clip. Locate the pin in one of the three holes in the adjuster strap for best position and comfort. Ensure both sides are set to the same height. Secure in the required position with the ‘R’ Clips.

Grassbag Attachment

The mower is shipped with a ‘Mulcher Plug’ fitted inside the dis- charge chute. Open the rear door and remove prior to initial use.

To attach the grassbag, Open the rear door and lower the grassbag through the handlebar making sure the top corners of the grasbag frame hook over the rear plate and into position.
