Moving to the Beginning of Tracks (Skipping)

GUsing the buttons on the main unitH

During playback, press <8/6> or <7/9>.

The disc is skipped the number of tracks equal to the number of times the button is pressed.

When you press <8/6> once, playback restarts from the beginning of the current track.

GUsing the buttons on the remote controlH

During playback, press [8] or [9].

The disc is skipped the number of tracks equal to the number of times the button is pressed.

When you press [8] once, playback restarts from the beginning of the current track.

Playing a Specific Track (Direct searching)

Press [NUMBER] (0 9) to select the track.

GExampleH : Track 4 : Press number [4] to select Track No. 4.

GExampleH : Track 12 : Press numbers [1] and [2] consecutively to

select Track No. 12.

The number you enter is set about 1.5 seconds after you press the number buttons. To enter a two-digit number, be sure to press the two number buttons, one immediately after the other.

Turning off display

During playback, press [DISPLAY].

Each time [DISPLAY] is pressed, the display brightness changes as shown below.

Off

When the display is switched off, the “DISPLAY OFF” indicator lights.

NOTE

During stop mode, the display information does not turn off. The information is turned off only during playback.

To change time display

Press [TIME].

When [TIME] is pressed each time, the display shows differently in the following orders.

Total remaining time

Playing repeatedly (Repeat Playback)

Press [REPEAT] to select repeat mode.

When [REPEAT] is pressed each time, the display switches repeat modes in the following order.

When repeat playback is set, random playback and AMS playback cannot be performed.

Playing in random order (Random playback)

1 During stop mode, press [RANDOM]. The “RNDM” indicator on the display lights.

2 Press 1.

The tracks start playing in random order.

Listening with headphone

Plug the headphones into the headphone jack (PHONES).

Adjusting the Volume

Turn <LEVEL>.

NOTE

To prevent hearing loss, do not raise the volume level excessively when using headphones.

Stopping Random Playback

Press [RANDOM] during stop mode.

The “RNDM” indicator on the display goes off.

NOTE

Repeat Play and AMS Play cannot be conducted when the unit is in Random Mode.

If <7/9>, or [9] are pressed during Random Play, the player jumps to the next track of the shuffled order.

To search through the current track during random play, press and continue holding <8/6, 7/9> or press [6, 7].

The random playback mode is canceled if you set power to standby, turn off power, or open the disc tray.
