This can take several minutes; do not turn off the printer during this process 81 Solving Paper or Other Substrate ProblemsYou can avoid most paper handling problems by doing the following: • Make sure the paper or other substrate is dry and flat before loading it 82 Remove the stack of paper from the tray, and check that the paper or otherfrom one of the paper trays substrate: or more than one sheet • Isn’t curled or creased feeds at a time • Isn’t too thick or thin (see Appendix B) • Isn’t overloaded in the feeder.
