LED Description

LINK OFF means no Rx link is present, and ON means an Rx link is present.

ACTIVE OFF means no data is being transmitted or received on the interface and blinking

means data is being transmitted and/or received.

4.2.4 Interface Optical Fiber

The 100FX MM should be connected to multi-mode optical fiber and the 100FX SM to

single-mode optical fiber. Because the optical interfaces on both cards are SC-type

optical receptacles, you must use the optical fibers with SC-type connectors to

connect them.
