Caution: When installing memory, we
recommend you seek the help of a qualified
service technician. Improper installation can
damage the memory module or the computer.
Warning! Electronic components can be
damaged by static electricity. To avoid
damage, always wear a wrist grounding strap
(available at most electronic stores) when
handling electronic components. Do not
remove the component from its anti-static
packaging until you are ready to install it.
Follow these steps to install additional memory:
1. Power down your
computer. If you are
using the AC adapter,
disconnect it from the
power outlet.
2. Close the display lid.
3. Turn the computer
over to access the
base.
