The Tilt Switch
Your ARi3G remote is equipped with a tilt switch that automatically enables electroluminescent (EL) backlighting of your remote whenever you move it. By default the tilt switch is enabled.
To Disable the Tilt Switch:
1.Press and hold 
(mute) and Menu until the backlighting blinks twice, then release both keys.
2.Press 
. The backlighting flashes twice.
The tilt switch is now deactivated: the backlighting turns on only when a key is pressed.
