Keyboard and PS/2 mice - 6 pin mini-DIN male connector to 6 pin mini-DIN male connector with all lines connected straight through (1-1,2-2 etc.). If the PC has a 5- pin DIN AT style keyboard connector you will need a PS/2 to AT keyboard adapter 6-pin mini-DIN female to 5-pin DIN male (readily available). For ‘self powered’ operation without the optional power adapter the cables should be no longer than 3 metres (see section 2.4 for more details). For operation with the power adapter, cables should be no longer than 30 metres.

RS232 serial mice - these require a special converter to connect the RS232 lines present on the AdderView mouse ports to the RS232 port on a PC.

Cables should be no longer than 30 metres.

The 15 way D connector located on the back of the AdderView provides connections for the remote control module and allows an external RS232 device to control the AdderView. See section 3.5 for more details.
