This structure is supported by ACI_INSERT macro, described above. If you do not use macros, you could fill it with appropriate data after aci_insert() call returns. ACI_INSERT macro also fills the member volser_ranges_len with the actual size of volser_ranges_val array, which could be less that XDR_NO_RANGES in most cases. See Figure 5-28.
