Turning OFFPress the Power Switch of the
scanner to the O (OFF) position.
Press the Power Switch of the printer
to the O (OFF) position.
NOTE
The printer and scanner can be turned
ON and OFF at the same time by
employing a cord that is equipped with an
on/off switch saving both time and energy.
*Make sure that all cords used comply
with the specified ratings of the unit.
This system provides two functions that
help to decrease power consumption: one is
the Auto Power Save function that automat-
ically shuts down power to the printer heat-
er; the other is the Auto Projection Lamp
OFF function that automatically turns OFF
the Projection Lamp of the scanner. Both are
activated when the system is left idle for a
given period of time.
These functions may be disabled or enabled.
When enabled, timing can be selected from
either 30 min. or 60 min.
When the system is in the Auto Power Save
mode, each outside segment of the Multi-
Print Display LEDs light up sequentially,
clockwise.
* The default setting for the Auto Power
Save and Auto Projection Lamp OFF
functions is “Disabled.” Consult your
authorized dealer for more in-
formation.
