Adjustment Procedures
To remove the instrument cover
CAUTION Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage or destroy electronic components.
All work on electronic assemblies should be performed at a static-safe work
station. Refer to “Electrostatic Discharge Information” on page 5-7 for more
information on preventing ESD.
1Disconnect the power cord from the instrument.
2Position the instrument so that you are looking at the rear panel.
3Use a T-15 TORX driver to back out the screw that attaches the top cover to
the instrument.
Note that the screw is permanently secured to the cover.
4After the screw is backed out, slide the cover toward the rear of the instrumen t
approximately 4 mm. Then, lift the cover off the instrument.
