RADIO OPERATION

English

Manual Tuning1Press POWER 6STANDBY/ON to turn on the power.2Press FUNCTION repeatedly until TUNER is displayed.3Press BAND/FM STEREO to select the band.

Each time BAND/FM STEREO is pressed, the band is changed cyclically as follows: AM bFM bFM STEREO bAM

4Press UP or DOWN to tune in to a station.

The frequency display changes to the clock display after about 10 seconds.

5Adjust the volume.

After listening, press POWER 6STANDBY/ON to turn off the power.

For quick tuning

Keep either Up or DOWN pressed for 1 to 2 seconds. When a station is tuned in to, it stops automatically.

To listen to FM stereo broadcast

Press BAND/FM STEREO to select FM STEREO. STEREO and “on” is displayed for 3 seconds. When the unit receives the FM stereo broadcast, STEREO is displayed.

When the FM stereo broadcast signal is weak, press BAND/ FM STEREO to select FM. The sound will be heard in monaural, but distortion will be reduced.
