GEARBOX LUBRICATION

The Gearbox was filled with oil at the factory. However, it is necessary that the operator check the Geabox before operations. The oil should be to the level of the notch on the dipstick. The Filler/Breather Plug is on the top of the Gearbox. Fill through this plug using Multi-Purpose Gear Oil P/N 00786250. The oil level after operating long enough for warmed oil to flow through the Bearings into the lower Gearbox cavity. Refill to the test plug level. Check the oil again before operation, after every 40 hours of mowing, and at the beginning and end of each mowing season. The gearbox capacity is 3 quarts.

NOTE: Overfilling the Gearbox will cause pressure to build up and cause Oil Seals to leak.

ATTENTION: If the Gearbox suddenly starts making an unusual noise, stop at once, check for leaks, and refill Geabox as required.

GEARBOX FILLER PLUG

HYDRAULIC LINES, COUPLERS, & ADAPTERS

Keep all hoses and adapters tight. Repair any leaks immediately. Do not overtighten hose end fittings. Tighten to specifications only. (See Chart Below)
