9.6.4To connect with your friends
Select a contact, you can communicate with your friend and set privacy options.
•Show on map Locate the friend's position on the map.
•Chat using Google Send instant messages to the friend.
Talk
• Send email | Send emails to the friend. |
• Directions | Get directions to this friend's location. |
• Hide from | Set to hide your location from this friend. |

9.6.5To control what you share
You can control the information you want to share with your friends.
Press Menu key from maps screen, touch Latitude, touch your own name and then touch Edit Privacy settings.
The following options are available to choose from:
•Detect your Enable Latitude to detect your location

•Set your location Select a location on the map manually.
•Do not update your Your location is not updated and your friends
