This type provides a peer-to-peer communication between wireless stations. All the communication is done from Client to Client without any Access Point involved. Ad Hoc networking must use the same SSID and

channel for establishing the wireless connection.

In client mode, the device can’t support the Router mode function include Firewall and WAN settings.

SSID:

The SSID is a unique identifier that wireless networking devices use to establish and maintain wireless connectivity. Multiple access point/bridges on a network or sub-network can use the same SSID. SSIDs are case sensitive and can contain up to 32 alphanumeric characters. Do not include spaces in your SSID.
