the event redial memory is empty. Press Talk/End to dial the displayed number. -OR-
Press Talk/End and listen for dial tone. Now, press REDIAL to scroll through the list of recently dialed
numbers. Dial the displayed number by pressing PROG.
Muting the Handset Microphone
It is possible to mute the microphone during a conversation by pressing the CLEAR/DEL key. With the
microphone muted, you can hear the other party, but they can’t hear you. Return to the two-way conversation
by pressing CLEAR/DEL again.
The Mute function is automatically cancelled when you hang up (go on hook).
Periodic beeps in the earpiece and a text message in the display indicate that the microphone is muted:

Headset Operation
Your ATS cordless Handset is equipped with a 2.5 mm. headset jack for use with an optional accessory
headset (not included).
To purchase a compatible headset, contact your local ATS business office.
Once you have a compatible headset, locate the headset jack located on the side of the handset.
First, remove the protective rubber cover. Plug the headset cord into the jack. Do not force the connection
When a headset is connected, the microphone on the handset is muted to limit the effect of background noise.
Your ATS cordless handset is also equipped with a belt clip. Align the pins located in the inside edge of the
clip with the notches on the sides of the handset. The clip should snap securely into place.

The page call function is used as an aid to locate the Handset.
Press PAGE on the Base Unit to page the Handset.
Using the ‘Hands-Free’ Handset Speakerphone
The hands-free operation can be switched on and off while in conversation. Using the Handset Speakerphone,
you can place the Handset on a table talk hands-free. It’s a portable speakerphone!
With the Handset either idle or active, enter hands-free operation by holding FLASH down for 2 seconds.
While in conversation, the hands-free function can be enabled or disabled by holding FLASH down for 2
seconds.
The hands-free mode is automatically deactivated when you terminate your call.
NOTE: The speakerphone is not accessible while the Handset is in the charger.
