Installation and Safety Guide

4.Connect the cable to the circuit breaker.

Connect the supply cable wires to the circuit breaker, in accordance with the applicable wiring regulations in your region, and in conjunction with any safety guide information for the DC supply unit. Ensure there are no exposed cable strands. The correct wire colour for each polarity is:

blue: negative

black: earth

red: positive

Caution Check that the supply cable wires are wired to the correct polarity. You will damage the PSU if you incorrectly connect it.

5.Power the router.

Turn the circuit breaker for the supply circuit to the ON position, then power the router by pushing the run/standby button on the PSU.

Checking the PSU’s status

The front panel of the router has LEDs that indicate the operational status of any connected power supply. After you have inserted the PSU and powered on the switch, you can check the PSU is operating correctly by using the LED table in the section “LEDs on the AR750S-DP” on page 22.
