Installing the Unit on a Desktop

To install the switch on the desktop, perform the following procedure. To mount the unit on a wall, perform the steps “Installing the Unit on a Wall” on page 14.

1.Attach the four self-adhesive rubber feet to the bottom of the switch, positioning them in the indentations.

2.Place the switch on a flat, level surface.

3.Plug the power adapter into the power receptacle, then plug the DC power cord into the DC connector on the front panel of the switch.

Warning

The power cord is used as a disconnection device. To de-energize equipment, disconnect the power cord.
