Adjusting Subwoofer Level

(when subwoofer is used with

other speakers)

To display the initialization mode screen:
To watch a video source, your vehicle must be
parked with the ignition key in the ACC or ON
position. To do this, follow the procedure below.
1.Push the foot brake to bring your vehicle to a
complete stop at a safe location. Engage the
parking brake.
2.Keep pushing the foot brake and release the
parking brake once then engage it again.
3.While the parking brake is being engaged the
second time, release the foot brake.
NOTE
For automatic transmission vehicles, place the transmission
lever in the Park position.
Now, the locking system for the initialization mode
operation has been released. Unless the ignition
key is turned to the OFF position, the initialization
mode can be activated by engaging the parking
brake without performing the above procedure (1
through 3).
Each time the ignition key is turned to the OFF
position, perform the above procedure.

NOTES
For further information, please contact your Alpine
dealer.
When you connect a subwoofer, you need an amplifier
with built-in low-pass filter.
The low-pass filter passes only the frequencies
below the selected cut-off frequency. Any high
frequency content of the audio signal above the cut-
off will be removed.
With the Setup screen displayed, pressing and rotating
the rotary encoder can adjust the volume level.
Immediately after inputting titles or changing the
settings of Setup Mode or Display Mode (While the
system is inputting the titles or data automatically) do
not turn the ignition key (engine key) to OFF.
Otherwise, the title may not be written, or the settings
may not be changed.
