Controlling CD Changer (Optional) Music Sensor (M.S.) Skip

If an optional Alpine 6-disc CD Changer (M-Bus) is connected to the 8-pin DIN connector of the TDM-9505RB/TDM-9503R/TDM-9501RM/TDM- 9501R you can control the CD Changer using the TDM-9505RB/TDM-9503R/TDM-9501RM/TDM- 9501R.

NOTE

The CD controls on the TDM-9505RB/TDM-9503R/TDM- 9501RM/TDM-9501R for the CD operation are functional only when the CD Changer is interconnected with the TDM-9505RB/TDM-9503R/TDM-9501RM/TDM-9501R.

1 Press the SOURCE button to activate the CD Changer.

The display shows the disc number and track number.

2 Make sure that the Function indicator illuminates, then press the Preset buttons to select the desired disc loaded in the CD Changer.

3 To pause playback, press the -/Jbutton. Pressing the -/Jbutton again will resume playback.

NOTES

If the "F" indicator is illuminated the Disc Select buttons become nonfunctional.

Press the SOURCE button to activate the CHANGER mode.

1 Press the g button once to return to the beginning of the current track.

If you wish to return to the beginning of a track further back, repeatedly press until you reach the desired track.

Press the f button once to advance to the beginning of the next track.

If you wish to advance to a track further ahead, press repeatedly until the desired track is reached.

NOTE

The music sensor feature is functional in the play or pause mode.

Fast Forward and Backward

1 Press and hold the g or f button to quickly move backward or forward respectively until you reach the desired portion.

NOTE

This feature works only in the CD playback mode.
