Can I use liquid
cleaners on my stainless
steel?
Justbecause acleaner is a
liquid does not mean itis non-abrasive.
Many liquid cleansers designed to be
gentle on tile and smooth surfaces still
damage stainless steel. Cosmetic
damage fromusing non-recommended
products isnot covered under warranty.
Citric Acid
Citric acidpermanently
discolors stainless steel.
To prevent damage to
the finishof your stainless steel
appliance, do not allow these
substances to remain onthe steel
finish:
• mustard
tomatojuice
marinarasauce
citrusbased sauces
citrusbased products
For best cleaning results
1. Wash surfaceswith warm soapy water anda soft, clean cloth or
sponge.
2. Rinse surfaces withwarm water. Dry surfaces with a soft, clean cloth.
DO NOT use the following harshcleaners:
abrasive or acidiccleaners (ammonia, chlorinebleach, vinegar-based
product,etc.)
citrus-besedcleaners
scouringpads (metal, textured plastic, etc.)
These itemscan scratch, discolor,or permanentlytarnish surfaces.
3. Follow up rinsingby immediately dryingwith a soft, clean cloth. This will
avoidwater spottingonstainless steelfinish.
