Thissafety feature prevents ovenfrom continuingto operate if ithas been

lefton for over 12 hours. Ifa cookingfunction continues longer than 12 hours

withoutany options on ovencontrol beingtouched, thisfeature turns oven

off.Any time an option is touched, 12-hourautomatic cancel is reset.

Oven temperature control adjustment

Yourrange is calibratedat the factory for propertemperature. Due to

individualvadancesand preferences, it may be necessary to adjustoven

onceit has been installed.

When firstusing the oven, followrecipe times and temperatures. Before

adjustingovenbaking temperature, test a recipe, such as ready-to-bake

biscuits,bysetting oventemperature higher or lowerthan the suggested

temperature.The baking resultsshould help you todecide how much of a

temperatureadjustmentis required.

An accurate digitalthermometeris necessaryto calibrate the oven. Store

purchasedoven thermometers do notaccurately measure oven temperature.

Oventemperature can be increased or decreased by 35 °F. To avoidover

adjustingthe oven, onlyadjust the temperature by 5 °F each time.

NOTE: Remove aluminumfoil from racks and oven bottom as this willalter

ovenperformance. Check for blocked heatvents. Ifit stillappears

ovenis not performingas expected, a calibrationmaybe done.

1. Turnoven temperature knob to OFF.

2. Press and hold both arrow pads for approximately5 seconds.

3. A doubledigit willdisplay ranging from -35 °F to 35 °F.

4. Immediately,press either:

••to increaseoven temperature by5 °F

• • todecrease oven temperature by5 °F

•When temperature is adjusted to a cooler setting, a minus sign (-) will

displaywiththe offset temperature.

5. When desired temperature change is displayed, release controland

change willbe automaticallysaved after a few seconds. Control will

returnto time of daydisplay.

• Offset temperature change willbe retained througha power failure.

Electronicovencontrol is equippedwitha self-diagnosticsystem.

Self-diagnosticsystemalerts you ifthere is an error or problemwith the unit.

Ifelectronicrange control sounds a sedes of short, rapidbeeps for over

16seconds and the display showsan F-code, recordF-code shown.

Some F-codescan be cleared by disconnectingpowerto the range for

approximately3 minutes.If the code continues to reoccur disconnect

electricalsupplyto range and contact an authodzedservicer.
