SELF-CLEANING OVENS

1. Do Not Clean Door Gasket--The doorgasket is
essentialfor a good seal. Care should be taken not
torub, damage, or move the gasket.
2. Do Not Use Oven Cleaners--No commercial oven
cleaneror oven liner protectivecoating ofany kind
shouldbe used in or around any partof the liner.
3. Clean Only Parts Listedin Manual
4. BeforeSelf-Cleaning the Oven--Remove broiler
pan, oven racks, and other utensils.
5. Remove All Items From Rangetop and Backguard.

VENTILATION HOODS

1. CleanVentilating Hoods Frequently--Grease should
notbe allowedto accumulateon hoodor filter.
2. When flamingfoodsunder the hood,turn the tan on.

In Case of Fire

Fires can occur as a result of over cooking
orexcessive grease. Though a fire is
unlikely,if one occurs, proceed as follows:
Surface Element Fire
1. Smotherthe fire with a nonfiammable lid or baking
soda, or use aClassABC orBC extinguisher.Not
water.Not salt. Not flour.
2. As soon as it is safe to do so, turn the surface
controlstoOFF. Turn offpower at main circuit
breakeror fuse box.
Oven Fires
1. Ifyou see smokefrom your oven,do not open
oven.
2. Tum oven off.
3. Asan added precaution,turnoffpower at main
circuitbreaker or fusebox.
4. Turn on ventto remove smoke.
5. Allowfood or grease to bum itself outin oven.
6. If smokeand fire persist, call fire department.
7. Ifthere is anydamage to components,call an
authorizedservicer beforeusingrange.
