Power Distribution Modules (PDMs)Installation
Note: 1. Power distribution modules can be safely installed when the PDU is operational.
2. Install only APC-supplied PDMs with matching output voltage.
3. Install PDMs starting from the bottom of the panel to avoid cable congestion.
1Open the front door of the PDU.
2Remove the filler plates. Press down on the filler plate clip to release
its locking mechanism.
Pull the filler plate directly toward you and along the slot on the left
side of the panel until it is free.
3Install a module. Make sure all breakers on the PDM
being installed are in the OFF (open) position.
4Press the red button to release the latch on the PDM.
5Pull open the latch.
