If you have a problem with your Internet connection

åMake sure your network cable is connected and functioning properly.

åIf you are using a dial-up Internet connection, make sure that your telephone cord is plugged into the port on the external modem (available separately) and not the Ethernet (G) port.

åSee ÒConnecting to the InternetÓ on page 87 for information on setting up your iMac to connect to the Internet. There you will find how to locate your Internet settings and the contact information for your Internet service provider (if you used Setup Assistant to get your Internet account).

If you have trouble ejecting a disc

åQuit any applications that may be using the disc, and then and press the Media Eject (C) key on your keyboard.

åIf that doesnÕt work, open a Finder window and click the eject icon next to the disc icon in the sidebar, or drag the discÕs icon from the desktop to the Trash.

åIf that doesnÕt work, log out of your user account by choosing Apple menu > Log Out ÒUserÓ (your account name appears in the menu), and then press the Media Eject (C) key on your keyboard.

åIf that doesnÕt work, restart the iMac while holding down the mouse button.
