• Whatyou’ll need: InnerPot • Colander
1. Pour water intothe inner pot(enough to coverfood to be boiled).
2. Placethe colanderinto the innerpot.
3. Placeinner pot and colanderintothe rice cooker. Set the lid overthe top.
4. Pressthe Pasta button. The Pasta indicatorlightwill illuminate.
5. When thewater has cometo a boil, removethe lid. Carefullyadd pastaor other foodsto the inner
pot,wearingprotectiveoven mitts usinga long-handledspoon ortongs to avoidsteam burns. Donot
re-coverwiththe lid.
6. Allowfood to boil. Stirwith a long-handledspoonand checkfor donenessoccasionally,taking care
touse protectiveoven mittsto avoid steamburns. Referto food packagingfor estimatedcooking
times.
7. When pastaor other foodhas finishedcooking pressthe Warm/Offbutton twiceto turn offthe power.
8. Usingprotectiveoven mitts, carefullyliftthe colanderout of the ricecooker, allowingall the waterto
draininto theinner pot.
9. Emptyfood from colanderinto a servingdish.

TO COOK PASTA/BOIL:

providedon page13 of this manualto help youdetermine howlong varioustypes of foodwill need to

5. Removefood fromthe steam trayimmediatelyafter cooking.Usingprotectiveoven mitts, pullup the
handleson thesteam tray andcarefully liftout.
6. Donot leave thefilled steamtray in the innerpot after it hasfinished cooking.Leavingfood in innerpot
maycause it to overcook.
7. Afterremovingfood, replacethe lid andallow the riceto finish cooking. When it is ready,the rice
cookerwill automaticallyswitch to keepwarm mode.

How To Clean
1. Lid,steam tray,colander,rice paddle,measuringcup and inner potare dishwashersafe. When
usingthe dishwasher,it isbest to place plasticaccessorieson thetop rack.
2. ToHand Wash: Washlid, steamtray, colander,rice paddleand measuringcup in warm,soapy
water. Rinse anddry thoroughly.
3. Washinner potin warm soapy waterwith a softcloth. Do not useabrasive cleanersor scouring
pads,as they maydamage the nonstickfinish. The use of scouringpads createsa risk ofelectric
shock.
4. Rinseand dry thoroughlybeforereturningto the ricecooker.
5. Wipethe exteriorof the ricecooker with a softdamp cloth.
Do not submergerice cookerbody, cord or plugin water or anyother liquids.
Always make surethat the outsideof the innerpot is dry priorto use. If innerpot is wet whenit is
returnedto therice cooker itmay damage thisproduct, causingit to malfunction.
