Troubleshooting

Becauserice variations mayvary in their make-up, resultscan alsodiffer. Below

aresome troubleshooting tipsto help you achieve the desired consistency.

PROBLEM SOLUTION

Riceis too dry/hardafter
cooking.
Ifyour rice is dryor hard/chewywhen the ricecooker
switchesto WARMmode, additionalwaterand cooking
timewill softenthe rice. Dependingon howdry your rice
is,add ? to 1 cup of waterand stir through.Closethe lid
andpress down thepower switchto COOK mode.
Whenrice cookerswitches toWARM mode, openthe lid
andstir the riceto check the consistency. Repeatas
necessary untilrice is soft andmoist.
Riceis too moist/soggy
aftercooking. Ifyour rice is stilltoo wet or soggywhen the ricecooker
switchesto WARMmode, use therice paddle tostir the
rice. This will redistributethe bottom (moistest) partof
therice as well asrelease excessmoisture. Close the lid
andallow to remainon WARM modefor 10-30 minutes
asneeded, openingthe lid andstirring periodically to
releaseexcessmoisture.
