2.6Installing an expansion card

In the future, you may need to install expansion cards. The motherboard has one 32-bit PCI slot.

2.6.1Expansion slot

PCI slot

The PCI slot supports PCI cards such as a LAN card, SCSI card, USB card, and other cards that comply with PCI specifications. The figure shows a LAN card installed on a PCI slot.

Make sure to unplug the power cord before adding or removing expansion cards. Failure to do so may cause you physical injury and damage the motherboard.
