For Macintosh OS:

1.If necessary, turn ON the drive.

2.Place a disc in the SCB-1608-D external drive.

3.Execute the System Profiler from the Apple Control Panels.

4.Click on the Devices and Volumes tab. All types of devices attached to the Mac system are displayed on this tab.

5.Look for an additional disc icon

with the USB device symbol. The icon is displayed with the volume label of the disc placed in the drive. It is usually added at the bottom of the list.
