Step 4: Note that you can also program Transfer (for touch-tone enable) and ## (for # to access PBX/Centrex features) into a System Speed Dial sequence.

You can program a new System Speed Dial code over an old code without removing the old code first. If you want to remove a code without programming a new code, you dial the code (#60 – #99) that you want to clear and touch Drop (Stop) twice.

USING A SYSTEM SPEED DIAL BUTTON (User's Guide page 21):

To Program: T/P to P

Touch the button

Dial *95 + a System Speed Dial Code (60 through 99 – do not dial the #)

T/P to center

To Place a call using a System Speed Dial button: Lift your handset

Touch the button for the System Speed Dial code you want to dial.

ASSIGNING COVER BUTTONS (Administration Manual page 46; User's Guide page 30; Attendant's Guide page 13):

If a covered voice terminal's line is set to No Ring, outside calls for that voice terminal cannot be covered at another voice terminal.

SAVED NUMBER REDIAL AND LAST NUMBER REDIAL (User's Guide pages 22–23; Attendant's Guide page 34):

Saved Number Redial and Last Number Redial do not save Hold (Pause), Drop (Stop), Transfer (Touch-Tone Enable), or Recall/Hold (Switchhook Flash) special characters.

MESSAGE STATUS (Attendant's Guide page 22):

If you have a large attendant console, the Message Status button activates a green light beside the button. There are no red lights associated with the Message Status button.
