	Determine if base and portable unit ringers are	X
	turned on and ON/OFF key has been pressed.
	Remove portable unit from base for at least five minutes,
	then replace portable unit in base unit cradle until beep is	X					X
	heard through headpiece (approximately two seconds)
	to ensure a common security code.
	Unplug AC adapter from base unit and battery pack	X
	from portable unit, reattach power sources and place		X				X
	portable unit in base unit.
	Determine if portable unit is outside range of base unit.	X		X	X	X
