When the Do Not Disturb feature is active, the green light next to your line button flashes when you receive outside calls, but your voice terminal does not ring. Calls transferred to you return to the sender after a prescribed number of rings (set by your system administrator), and intercom calls to you get a busy signal.

The feature remains active until you:

Touch Do Not Disturb again.

The green light next to the button goes out.

NOTE: If you have a Cover button for one or more people (see “Call Coverage,” page 34), their voice terminals ring when you call them on the intercom from your voice terminal even if they are using the Do Not Disturb feature.
