Battery installation & charging

After installation, place the handset in the charger or the telephone base and allow the battery pack to charge for at least 16 hours before use. You can keep the battery pack charged by returning the handset to the charger or the telephone base after use. When battery power is fully depleted, a full recharge takes about 16 hours.

Insert supplied bat- tery as indicated. The top edge (with contacts and tab) needs to be inserted first, then push down on the lower portion.

Plug power cord into jack on underside of charger, then plug power adapter into electrical outlet.

NOTE: When fully charged, the battery

in the handset can provide 5 hours of talk time or 3 days of standby time (when idle).
