NOTE: The maximum number of handsets in use at any time is three, and
the possible combinations include:
• Three handsets and the base on an external call.
• Two handsets and the base on an external call, and one handset accessing
the answering system.
• One handset and the base are on an external call, and two handsets are on
intercom.
Adding new handsets

If the screen on the telephone base shows Re gistrat ion

failed, an erro r tone will sound. Try a gain.

NOTE: The new handset will be assigned the next available handset number.
A maximum of eight handsets can be registered to each telephone base.
