Method 3: (For a DHCP address)

For computers running Windows, the CN-5000’s DHCP generated IP address can be determined with the AdminTool utility (found on the distribution CD):

1.Double click the AdminTool utility icon on the CD to install the utility on your computer.

When the installation completes, there is a CN5000 AdminTool icon on your desktop.

2. Double click the CN5000 AdminTool icon.

The utility searches the network segment for CN-5000 devices, and displays what it finds in a dialog box similar to the one below:

The DHCP assigned IP address appears in the right hand column of the CN5000 Devices panel:

Note: 1. If there is more than one device in the list, use the MAC address to pick the one you want. The CN-5000’s MAC address is located on its bottom panel.

2.If the list is empty, or your device doesn’t appear, click Refresh to refresh the Device List.

3.Click Exit to close the utility.
