Windowcontrol:
Singlemonitor windows—When this box is checked,
windowsare sized no larger than a single monitor.
Windowsthat are placed on monitor splits are
automaticallyrelocated to the monitor on which most of the
windowappears.
HydraVision™Max/Restore—Allowsyou to control the
behaviorof the Windows®Maximize button.When
HydraVision™is running, a HydraVision™ Max/Restore
buttonappears in the upper right corner of your application
title bars. Clicking this icon makes the activewindow
maximizein one of two ways:
− Maxtowindowcornerscauseswindows to maximize
tothe monitor(s) that cont ain the window’supper left and
lowerright corners.
− Maxtofulldesktopcauseswindows to maximize to
thee ntire monitor array.
Max child windows—Keeps windowsgenerated by parent
applicationsfrom splitting across mon itors( A child windowis a
windowresiding within a parent application window.) The
ability to keep child windows on a single monitor when
maximized is extremelyuseful for editing multip ledocu ments
sideby side in a parent application.
NOTE:The HydraVision™application title bar icon
changesfrom a single square to two smaller squareswhen a
windowis in a HydraVision™maximized state. Clicking the
icon again restoresthe active window to its default state as a
singlesquare.
General:
Applicationposition memory—Check this box to “remember”
thes ize and location of application windows when they are
closedand reapply those settings when the application is
reopened.
Automaticallyalign monitor s—UnderWindows®98SE and
Windows®Me, you can manually define monitor placement
fromthe Settings dialog in the Display Propertiesdialog box.
When this box is checked, HydraVision™ will override user-
definedmonitor placement if the monitors are not evenly
aligned.
