Viewing Texton Television
A TV is designed primarilyto show moving, rather than static,
images.T he largedot pitch of a TV (which is fine for moving
video) will yield poor quality static images such as text.
Thesmall text sizes commonly used for computer desktops can
appearblurred or unclear on a TV. Youcan compensate for this
byusing larger fonts.
ToUse Larger Display Fonts
1Click Start.
2Point to Settings,thenclickControl Panel.
3Double-click Display.
4ClickontheSettings tab and then the Advanced... button.
5Makesure you’re on the General tab.
6Inthe Font Size box, select the size you want your
displayed fonts to be.
7Click Apply,then follow the onscreen instructions to save
yournew settings.
Reducing Edge Distortion
Whenusing a television for your PC’s display, you may see some
edgedistortion on the left and right side of your television screen.
Thiseffect depends on your television and the PC application you
arerunning.
Toreduce edge distortion, you can increase the TV display’s
horizontalsize.
