Using and Adjusting TV Out

Enabling and Disabling the TelevisionDisplay

1Click Start.
2Point to Settings,thenclickControl Panel.
3Double-click Display.
4ClickontheSettings tab and then the Advanced... button.
5ClickontheATI Dis p l a y s tab.
6Clickonthegreenenable/disable button next to the word
“TV” to enable/disable television display.
If therei s no display on your TV,you mayneed to switch it
tovideo display mode. For more information,consult the
documentation supplied with your TV.If your television is
connectedto your VCR, you may need to tune the TV to the
VCR’soutput. Forinformation about connecting your TV to
yourVCR, consult the documentation that came with your
VCR.
7Click Apply to savethe changes you have made.
Forinformation about how to use televisiondisplay and the ATI
Displays Properties page, click the Help button.
Note
ATV can not be left connected to the graphics c ard if
twoanalog monitors are connected to the
RADEON™VE, evenif the TV is off and not
enabledin the software.
Ananalog monitor connected to the DVI-I connector
cannotbe left connected to the RADEON™VE
when TV out is enabled.
Inboth cases, the RADEON™VE will become
overloaded,resulting in a dim image on all devices.
