Memorizing the Channels

This unit can automatically find all channels available through antenna or cable inputs, and store them in memory. Note: Be sure to select the TV source before operation.

Selecting the Tuning Band

Before your TV can memorize the available channels, you must specify the type of signal source that is connected to the unit. (i.e., an antenna or cable system)

Press MENU to display the menu main page.

Press 5or 6 repeatedly to select Setup menu.

Press OK or4 to access the submenu.

Press 5or 6 to select Tuning Band item.

Press OK or 4 to select the Tuning Band.

If using cable, select one of Cable/Cable HRC/Cable IRC/Cable Auto according to your local area’s cable system. Normally please select Cable Auto. (For further band information, contact your cable service provider.)

Auto Channel Search

1 Navigate to the Setup sub-menu and highlight Auto Ch Search.

Press OK or4to begin the auto channel search.

2 The unit will automatically search for all available TV/DTV (if using antenna), CATV/CADTV (if using cable) program.

After setting channels into memory, you can add or delete channels from the default channel list as follows:

1 Navigate to the Setup sub-menu and highlight Manual Ch Set.

2 Press OK or 4to open Manual Channel Set Menu sub-menu.

3 Use navigation buttons (563, , or4) to navigate and select, use OK button to add (the added channel will have a mark) or delete the channel. (If you want to toggle between NTSC and ATSC, use navigation buttons to highlight it, and then use OK to toggle.)

4 Press EXIT button to exit.

Now when you use CH+/- buttons to cycle among the channels, the deleted channels can not be selected.

Note:

For DTV program, you can only delete the programs from the list, you can not add it.

You can make use of Manual Channel Set Menu to know whether an ATSC channel exists as a sub channel.
