STOPWATCH MODE
The stopwatch mode provides you with the capability of timing certain external func- tions without the need for a separate time piece. To use the stopwatch feature, proceed as follows:
1.Press the Function (F) button 6 times; STOPWATCH appears on the display momentarily, followed by eight zeros; each pair of zeros is separated by a colon (:), signifying
2.Press the right menu button to initiate the clock; the timing counter will begin counting up. While timing is in progress, press the right menu button again to stop the clock.
3.Press the right menu button to reset the stopwatch time to zero.
4.Press the left menu button to start and stop the timing counter, while the timing is in progress, without resetting the timer function.
5.Press the Function (F) button to exit the stopwatch mode.
SETUP MODE
The SETUP mode is accessed by pressing the Function (F) button 7 times; this mode contains a number of
*Setting the Priority radio channel
*Setting the VOX delay time
*Choosing the Call melody
*Setting Roger Beep on or off
*Setting the beep tone (key or button beep) on or off
*Setting the Quiet mode on or off
*Selecting a Time Out Timer setting (or none)
*Entering an identification name (ID) tag for your unit
PRIORITY CHANNEL SELECT
The priority channel is the radio channel that you and others in your group will be monitoring for activity. To select the priority channel, proceed as follows:
1.With SETUP displayed, press the right menu button once; P.. CH appears with the channel number flashing on the right.
2.Press the Up and Down buttons to select the priority channel you wish to use.
