•Never connect the portable VHF station to alternating current volta- ge or to voltage sources exceeding 32 V.d.c.

•Never connect the portable VHF station with reversed polarity to a voltage source.

•The installation or use of the portable VHF station in ambient tempe- ratures below -15°C or above +50°C is to be avoided.
