MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Always disconnect from the electrical outlet before handling the Pump.

IF THE PUMP FAILS TO OPERATE, CHECK THE FOLLOWING:

Check the circuit breaker and try another GFCI protected outlet to ensure the Pump is getting electrical power.

Check the pump discharge, impeller and tubing for obstructions.

Check the intake screen to ensure it is not clogged.

Flush with water to remove any algae build-up.

To clean the Impeller area: rotate the volute 45º counter-clockwise and pull it straight out. Rotate the impeller by hand to ensure that it can spin freely.

Use a stream of water to remove any debris.

Monthly maintenance will add to your Pump’s life.
