c) AVL:

TV transmitters have different sound levels. AVL (automatic volume limiting) maintains the same sound level as you switch from program to program.

From the features menu you can select AVL button by pressing Program down button.

Press Volume up or down button and select AVL On or Off.

When AVL is on a slight delay in sound level may be noticed when vhanging programs while the TV sound level this is not a fault.

d) Language

There are many languages available for the On Screen Displays (OSD).

In the features menu select Language by program down button.

Press the OK button to select the language list.

Press the Program up/down or Volume up/down buttons to page through all the languages and OK to select.

Picture format

This allows you to select the picture of your TV.

Avaible formats are 4:3 and 16:9.

You can change the picture format to 16:9 to able to watch the inputs in 16:9 format, i.e. some broadcasts and DVD’s by pressing 16:9 button.

Press the 16:9 button to see the chosen format on the lower center of the screen and press the 16:9 button again to change the picture format.

Note: A black band can be visible top and bottom on 4x3 and 16:9 formats this is broadcast dependant this is not a fault.

Normalization

Press the BLUE d) Language button on the remote control. To return to the TV default settings (i.e. to cancel and changes you have made but no stored).
